Algoma Steel Electric Arc Furnace UR2

Starting in the fall of 2023 S. & T. was contracted to support Algoma Steel Inc.’s new Electric Arc Furnace project. S. & T. engaged in the following scope of work at the new facility. Work Schedule – November 2023 completion December 2024. Estimated 40-60 electricians.

• Electrical HV work, switch Gear, Rectifiers, Transformers, DRM, Water Cooled HV Bus work etc.
• Electrical MV connection and switchgear
• Electrical Station Service
• Electrical Distribution
• Process and controls.
• High Bay lighting and tray
