Convergent Battery Storage System – Shell

S. & T. was selected as Convergent Energy +Power’s construction partner on a 10MW/20MWh battery energy storage system for Shell Manufacturing Centre, Sarnia, Ontario. This is one of the largest behind-the-meter energy storage systems in Ontario. The scope of work included all heavy civil, concrete, ground grid, u/g electrical infrastructure, installation of all battery system components as well as the 27.6kV connection to the local distribution system.
