SSM PUC Substation #16

S. & T. Group was selected as the general contractor on this project for a local utility, PUC. The project scope included the demolition of sub 14 (retired) as well as the existing sub-16 complete with environmental management. The new build included: Site vegetation management, site civil preparation, install of grounding systems and bonding connections, install of underground duct bank, the construction of a new switchgear / transformer building, installation of new 35kV & 15kV GIS switchgear as well as all AC/DC auxiliary systems, protection systems, and communication & control equipment to integrate with SCADA. This also included testing and commissioning.
